Welcome to the loomSDK Holiday Hack!

Love it or hate it, the holiday season isn't the same without in-person meetings and events. Can you build a fun app that drives human connection at work? 

Think: sending special greetings or entirely replacing a holiday party. And, if a holiday party isn’t your idea of connection, what does connection mean to your team? Maybe it’s strategic alignment. Get creative! The idea/app should be useful all year, but can be inspired by the holiday season.

What to Build: 

You can create a new application or update an existing app using the loomSDK (via recordSDK or the embedSDK) that fits the above criteria. 

What to Submit: 

• Loom video. Include a loom video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission and explains how it sparks joy. Videos should be recorded on Loom and made public. 

• Access. Provide a URL to your code repository for judging and testing or a link to your functioning demo. Must be able to prove your work. If you do not have your project hosted please, submit a zip of the source code.

• Originality. Be the original work of the submitter, be solely owned by the submitter, and not violate the IP rights of any other person or entity.

  Is this idea unique or has it been done before? Is it tackling a new problem with the loomSDK, approaching a current problem in a new way, or finding a unique solution to an existing problem?
• Design
  Is the project design intuitive and does it encourage use of async video? How polished is the app? Would you want to use the app? Does it fulfill its desired purpose?
